FOX DANCE
An unfinished short film exploring man’s connection to nature and its relationship with the spiritual world.
“Fox Dance” was developed as my graduation project during my cinematography studies in the UK. Although the project was never fully completed, the existing material remains a piece of work I value for its visual language, atmosphere, and experimentation.
The film remains a work in progress, with the intention of eventually bringing it to its completed form.
A short documentary about an inseparable group of friends, keeping their friendship chemistry through traditions of fishing. A honest look at the mornings that Alvydas, Vytautas and Donatas share in the warm summer Baltic sea. This is a film about the how to overcome monotony with playfulness, making necessary work enjoyable through little things, finding happiness in each other and yourself.
UNRAVELLED FISHERMAN
FATHER AND SON MEMORY
A short documentary-style film capturing a father and his son during their time together in Neringa, Lithuania.
Shot as a personal collection of moments, the film follows their encounters, warm summer discoveries, and the quiet moments in between. More than a traditional documentary, it was made as a visual memory of time spent together — a connecting relationship preserved through film.
An experimental short film inspired by J. A. Baker’s “The Peregrine.”
The film follows a solitary character travelling and surviving in the wilderness, while his inner reflections unfold through a series of existential questions about life, existence, and his place within the natural world.
One of my earliest filmmaking experiments, the film takes an abstract, art-house approach to storytelling, relying on fragmented imagery, atmosphere, and introspection rather than a conventional narrative.
PEREGRINE
Motion photography montage about exploration of my hometown Neringa. An integrated visual and audio experimental play between people and nature, adventure and discovery. Exploring the flora and fauna of the landscape of this unique part of Lithuania, where wind, sand and water collide into a small piece of land that I call home. The film is also dedicated as a present to my relatives that can be seen in the video.

THE INCREDIBLE NOTHING
A short film that’s been made during university years. It was one of the assignments given to us during Covid lockdown in UK. There wasn’t much to film besides your roommates, yourself or your back garden. It was obvious that most of the fellow-students would fall into creating video essays or how isolation was making it more and more harder to stay with your thoughts inside the four walls. After a lot of thinking, I’ve decided to look for simplicity, something that wouldn’t be too boring and depressing to watch. Something that is pretty much nothing, or as I would see it, it’s about finding that peacefulness inside your head.
